General Contest Rules. No purchase necessary. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply. Unless otherwise specified by Radio Station WMXJ (the “Station” or
“MAJIC 102.7”), these rules cover daily contests and promotions for the Station. These rules may be superseded by separate specific rules for major contests or promotions conducted by the Station or its sponsors.

Eligibility. Unless otherwise specified, Contest offered only to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. One winner per household and one winner per immediate family once every ninety days. Contest offered only to residents of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach or Monroe Counties, Florida. Employees of MAJIC 102.7, Lincoln Financial Media Company of Florida, Lincoln Financial Media Company, participating sponsors, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and their advertising or promotional agencies (collectively, the "Contest Entities"), and the immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are not eligible. Employees of other companies operating radio stations in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Florida, MSA, and the immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are not eligible. Proof of age, identity and eligibility must be furnished to Sponsors upon request. Sponsors will not award a prize to anyone not meeting eligibility requirements at the time of entry. Winners of a MAJIC 102.7 Contest within the past ninety days are not eligible. MAJIC 102.7 Contest Winners who win a prize valued at $600.00 or more are not eligible to win another prize for 365 days from the date of winning. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if these Contest rules are not followed. By entering, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Contest rules, and you agree to abide all decisions of the Sponsors.
How to Enter. Participants should listen for a specific cue to call on MAJIC 102.7 or directions will be announced on-air.
How to Win. Unless otherwise instructed by the Station, when the cue to call has aired, listeners desiring to participate in the Contest should call the MAJIC 102.7 studio at 800-924-1027 (this number is toll-free in the continental U.S.). The designated caller, as determined by the Station in its sole and absolute discretion, will win a prize or will qualify to win a prize, as applicable. If the designated caller is disconnected or found to be ineligible, the next eligible caller may be named the winner or qualifier, as applicable. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to qualify or win, but a listener may only qualify or win once per contest and once during the time period set forth in the Eligibility section of these rules. For those listening to the Station stream on the Internet: Please be advised that you may be listening to a delayed stream of the radio signal, which may vary depending on your computer’s memory capacity and your dial-up connection. For that reason, we strongly recommend that you turn on your radio to the Station to participate in this or any other call-in contest to be sure you are participating in “real time.” The Station assumes no responsibility for contestants not making timely phone calls to the station as a result of the delays in the Internet stream.

Prizes and Odds of Winning. Prizes will vary and will be announced on-air. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Station reserves the right to substitute Prizes of equal or greater value. All charges, fees and costs not specifically included in the Prize description are the responsibility of each individual Winner and guest. Odds of winning depend on number of telephone calls received each time Contest is played. Unless otherwise specified, prizes are available for pickup at the MAJIC 102.7 offices, 20450 N.W. Second Avenue, Miami, Florida, weekdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (unless otherwise stated). Prizes not claimed by winners by 30 days after they are alerted to pick up his or her prize are subject to forfeit. In the event a prize is time-sensitive, the winner must claim his/her prize prior to the time-sensitive event. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of that winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. To claim prize, Winner (or their designated adult proxies) and must provide a valid driver license or state identification card (or clear photocopy thereof. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Terms and Conditions; Limitations of Liability. Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and with these Contest Rules, and by entering, participants agree to be bound to these Contest Rules. Any security breach or other attempt by an entrant or other party to tamper with the proper administration of the Contest will disqualify the entrant and may result in civil or criminal action against the entrant or other party and may result in the discontinuation, suspension or cancellation of the Contest. Winners and entrants agree, except where prohibited by law, to release and discharge, hold harmless and indemnify the Contest Entities, their employees, agents and representatives, officers and directors and their immediate families, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest, from any and all tax liability that may be imposed or associated with receipt or use of the prize, and from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, and liability for any damages, expenses, fees, injury or losses (including personal injury or death) sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for, or participating in any Contest-related or prize-related activity. By entering the Contest or by winning, participants grant to the Contest Entities the right to publicize the participant's name, photograph, image, likeness, voice and statements for advertising, trade and promotion purposes without compensation, without opportunity for review, and in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law. Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release before prize will be awarded. Contest Entities retain the discretion to make all decisions regarding the interpretation and application of these rules. All decisions of the Contest Entities are final and discretionary. In the event, a selected winner of a prize is ineligible or refuses the prize, or in the event the prize is forfeited for any other reason, the prize will be forfeited and Contest Entities, in their sole discretion, may select an alternate winner. The laws of the State of Florida shall govern this Contest, without regard to Florida's choice of law rules. The courts of Florida shall be the exclusive forum for any dispute relating to these Rules and/or this Contest. All participants and winners agree, by their participation in the Contest, to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Florida. Winner agrees to provide his or her Social Security Number and home mailing address for tax purposes -- including the mailing of IRS form 1099. Prizes may be considered income, and any or all taxes associated with prizes are the responsibility of each individual winner.
Disclaimer and Force Majeure. Contest Entities, their affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies, their employees, agents and officers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest are not responsible for: (1) problems associated with radio transmission, phone lines and phone or IP numbers that are beyond their control -- this includes, but is not limited to: a busy signal, operator interference, cellular interference, Internet congestion, technical or atmospheric conditions, interruptions or malfunctions that disrupt the completion of a phone call or Internet service, or for technical difficulties which may prohibit, prevent or interfere with the transmission of radio signals to all or limited geographic areas during the playing of the Contest; (2) typographical errors in any materials relating to the Contest; (3) cancellations, postponements or delays; or (4) Acts of God or Chances of Fate -- including, but not limited to, war, terrorism, government regulation, disaster, fire, strikes, civil disorder, or other similar causes -- beyond the control of the Contest Entities, their affiliated, parent and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate assigns, making it inadvisable, illegal, impossible or impractical to continue the Contest or to perform under these Rules. The Contest Entities reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Contest until such negative situations, causes or forces are eliminated or corrected. Contest Entities make no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning any prize, and Contest Entities specifically disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability, warranty of fitness, and any other implied warranty.

Disclosure of the material terms of this Contest will be broadcast at regular intervals on MAJIC 102.7 during the Contest period.
